NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG)

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) is an entrance examination conducted to provide admission to Undergraduate Medical, Dental, AYUSH and other courses in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The examination is conducted every year in the months of February and May.

NTA NEET (UG) is a three-hour computer-based examination that consists of 180 objective-type questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The exam is conducted in multiple languages such as English, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.

The eligibility criteria for appearing in the exam is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as the main subjects. Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Biotechnology.
